An Open Body Garbage Tipper (also known as a Tipper Hopper or Dumper) is a specialized waste management vehicle designed for the primary collection and transport of municipal solid waste (MSW). Unlike closed compactors, the open-body design allows for rapid manual loading and easy transport of bulky or loose waste.

1. Superstructure & Body Design

Body Type: All-steel welded construction with a high-tensile strength floor and side walls to resist impact and corrosion.
Capacity: Typically ranges from 1.5 $m^3$ to 10 $m^3$ depending on the chassis (LCV or HCV).
Loading Height: Designed with a low-entry sill to facilitate manual loading or the emptying of handcarts/bins.
